Electric car conversions--why not an aircraft?

This is the future!
I am seeking sponsors to build a two-place electric plane. The technology is there. Its only a matter of picking and choosing the right components. Since I started researching this project I have accumulated more data than I can put on this blog.

I want to build an experimental electric aircraft and will need additional funding or grants to cover the cost. Anyone interested should contact me hankkroll@gmail.com  The technology exists right now. Once I get it flying I will put a video on you tube to advertise your products and my company, New Wave Technology to do additional aircraft and car conversions.
We have a non-profit 501-C-3 corporation WORKFORCE TRAINING SCHOOL that can accept TAX DEDUCTIBLE donations.

Engineering students at Ohio State University built a batter powered car that attained the record speed of 307 miles per hour on Utah's Bonneville Salt flats. The technology is there. Its only a matter of picking and choosing the right components.

I recently discovered Yuneec International power systems, a Chinese based company. They are furnishing the motor, controller and battery packages for the Sonex and other light aircraft. Their permanent magnet motors look great and they have four complet packages ranging from 13 to 81 HP.

Check out: www.buckeyebullet.com
There is a good write-up in the February 2013 Scientific American about this project.

Sikorsky has a full sized battery powered helicopter prototype on you tube. Check it out! It uses a US Hybrid electric motor and two Lithium battery packs weighing 700 pounds each. Not to practical at the present time. The battery technology is on the verge of making electric flying machines a reality.

There are hundreds of electric car conversions on the road. Read
Electrical Engineer: www.JohnSavesEnergy.com articles to learn more about electric car conversions.

Arguments for Electric Cars:
  • Worst case, pollution is shifted from the tailpipe to the smokestack where emissions can be more strictly monitored and controlled.
  • Worst case, pollution is far away from populated areas. Pollution happens at night when the cars are charging and most people are inside and not breathing outside air.
  • As the electric grid becomes cleaner so do all the cars. This is an amazing quality. In Utah, 50% of all air pollution comes from automobiles. Imagine being able to reduce the emissions of hundreds of thousands of cars just by improving the point source where energy is generated? Air quality would improve overnight.
  • Electric cars don’t need to warm up before driving somewhere.
  • With electric cars, there is no risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
  • Electric motors don't care if it's summer, winter, sea level or high altitude. Unlike gasoline which must be adjusted according to the seasons and the local city's altitude, electricity could care less if it is used on the bottom of the ocean or a mountain on the moon.
  • Pollution from an EV during rush-hour is non-existent. Unlike an ICE, EVs consume virtually no energy when sitting idle at a traffic light.
  • Maintenance of an EV is almost non-existent. Water batteries every couple of months (lead acid only), add washer fluid and check your tire pressure. I do have to caution that you may have to get some dental work done because you will smile a lot more.
  • EV’s with regenerative brakes have virtually no brake wear/tear. EV’s are super quiet and noise pollution is much lower with EVs.
  • When working on an EV, you don’t become a greasy mess like in an ICE. No oil leaks, no mess.
  • EV’s are super fun to drive. There is no comparison. Once you go EV, you never go back.
  • The average commute is less than 20-miles, well within the range of electric cars.
  • It takes 6 - 7.5 kWh of electricity to refine 1 gallon of gasoline. That's the same amount of energy a Nissan Leaf EV takes to drive 20 miles. If we stopped refining gasoline and all drove electric cars instead, our nation would still use the same amount of electricity as before only without needing any oil and gas.

The battery packs that I think will work each weigh 135 pounds for a total weight of 270 pounds. The 160 AH at 78 volts batteries can sustain a maximum discharge of 60 amps and 40 amps continuous. Both battery packs hooked together can deliver a maximum of 120 amps for one minute delivering 80 HP.  I believe the plane will fly strait and level on 30 HP. Within seven years I predict battery power will more than double. Now is the time to get in on this!

Since there will be no engine, gasoline or fuel tanks to worry about the battery packs, electric motor and controller will weigh slightly more than the battery pack and the electric motor. When sitting at the airport solar cells could be used to charge the batteries.

I recently sold my J-3 Cub so I have some money to put into the project. It has to fly at least two hours carrying two people. The Challenger II kit aircraft empty weight is 350 pounds and cost about $20,000.00. Two Lithium ion battery packs with a controller cost about $20,000.00.

I have been researching the new lithium ion batteries and electric car conversions for some time. There is a tremendous amount .of information on the web right now regarding electric car conversions.

A propellar hub will be fixed on the motor where a three-blade ground adjustable carbon fiber prop is mounted. The Challenger is a pusher configuration so there is no danger of the hub coming off. As I said before we need 50 hp for takeoff and about 30 hp for level flight. Your smaller motor is what I need the price. Just give me a price.
One option is two Lithium Ion 110/ah/48 volt battery packs each weighing 135 pounds put out a maximum 30 amps each. Both will be used for takeoff for a total of 60 amps for one minute (96 volts with bot battery packs) a continuous output of 20 amps each (total 40 amps with both). I don't know if it will fly on 20 amps.

I will adapt the keyed shaft to the prop hub. I have a metal lathe. Just send me a price for the 50 or 70 hp motor at 140 volts and the controller.
I can buy the blank prop hubs from any number of aircraft suppliers. I will bor it out myself so its not a problem. The keyed shaft would be best with a bolt tapped into the end. Being that the Challenger aircraft is a pusher configuration the prop will not come off.

Bogus Global Warming

The multinational global climate change meetings are not based on fact. Its all about "societal manipulation" to make you live in a smaller house, drive a smaller car or bicycle, change your diet, reduce your standard of living, control the number of children you will have and reduce world populations so they enslave you more. Al Gore and Bill Clinton made millions selling phoney carbon credits to big corporations. Scientists are being paid to spread this disinformation and I am irate about all the dis-ingenuousness, controlling elite.

Study shows Alaska got colder from 2000-2010
Published: January 5, 2013 Updated 6 hours ago2013-01-06T19:47:38Z
By MIKE DUNHAMAnchorage_Daily_News

By MIKE DUNHAM — mdunham@adn.com
The overwhelming majority of Alaska is getting colder and has been since 2000, according to a study by researchers with the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. But the authors stop short of saying the lower temperatures contradict that idea that the earth, and Alaska in particular, is warming. Instead, they conclude that the findings show a temporary variation.
The scientists with the Geophysical Institute's Alaska Climate Research Center looked at temperatures recorded at 20 "first-order meteorological stations" in Alaska from 2000 to 2010. The stations were spread from Annette in Southeast to Barrow on the Arctic Ocean to Cold Bay at the southwest tip of the Alaska Peninsula. All are operated by professional meteorologists with the National Weather Service, use similar or identical equipment and follow uniform operating procedures.
Every station pointed to a cooling trend, except Barrow.
The mean cooling for the average of all 20 stations was 2.34 degrees Fahrenheit. The chilling trend was most pronounced in the Bering Sea region, with King Salmon recording a drop of 4.42 degrees in the first decade of the new century.
The Anchorage average went down by 2.7 degrees over the 10 years, Fairbanks lost about 1.8 degrees and Southeast stations dropped by a degree or less.
The report, produced by a team headed by professor emeritus of geophysics Gerd Wendler, is titled "The First Decade of the New Century: A Cooling Trend for Most of Alaska." It was published in The Open Atmospheric Science Journal, 2012.
A map in the report traces a line across the top of Alaska, starting at Point Hope and generally running across the crest of the Brooks Mountain Range to Canada. All portions of the state south of that line recorded colder temperatures and all places north recorded warmer.
The authors looked into sunspot activity and determined that it was not related to the trend. They did find a correlation with the Pacific Decadal Oscillation, or PDO, a shift in warm waters from the eastern to the western side of the Pacific Ocean not unlike the El Nino warming pattern. But while El Nino shifts over months, the PDO moves much more slowly, staying put for years or decades.
Wendler has previously taken part in research that showed that a long warming period in Alaska, starting in 1977, was influenced by the PDO.
The PDO affects the ongoing low pressure system -- or "semi-permanent cyclone" -- in the Aleutians. In the present configuration, the PDO is causing the Aleutian Low to weaken. That means decreased wind speeds, resulting in less warm air from south of the Aleutians mixing with colder air in the Bering Sea, which leads to chillier temperatures on the west coast of the state.
The Arctic Ocean coast, far from the Aleutians, is not significantly affected by this phenomenon. Barrow showed an increase of 3.04 degrees over the decade, which the authors called substantial.
The report notes previous cooling periods, including a span of some 30 years that began in the 1940s, and says it is too early to decide whether the widespread Alaska cooling trend "is a climatic shift" or merely a blip. Its summary reads: "The long term observed warming of Alaska of about twice the global value. . . . is sometimes temporarily modified or even reversed by natural decadal variations."
The authors acknowledge, however, that the overall statewide drop of 2.34 degrees is a lot for one decade.

United States is a corporation not a country...Importan read!

The United States is a corporation
1788 Original               Constitution for the united states,      original organic, of the people government.
1871 Amended version CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES,          US is a private corporation.

The UNITED STATES was formed in 1871, which controls only the District of Columbia and the territories it purchases or acquires; Puerto Rico, Guam, Virginia Islands. Many think that income taxes, and some laws do not effect people in the sovereign states of the union as they are outside of the control / jurisdiction of the United States corporation. The United States of America is different from the "United States" [corporation].

The terms UNITED STATES and/or United States of America and/ or United States Government are all a private corporation, even with registered trademark

The US corporation (originally called the District of Columbia) does not effect or control the 50 sovereign states that are protected from the federal government by the US Constitution for the United States adopted in 1788.
There are 2 United States, one formed in 1787, the collection of the several sovereign states of the union, and another separate and different one formed in 1871, which only controls the District of Columbia and it’s territories. Others may can give you specific references and explain this further. Here is an outline of the concepts.
The date is February 21, 1871 and the Forty-First Congress is in session. I refer you to the "Acts of the Forty-First Congress," Section 34, Session III, chapters 61 and 62. On this date in the history of our nation, Congress passed an Act titled: "An Act To Provide A Government for the District of Columbia." This is also known as the "Act of 1871." What does this mean? Well, it means that Congress, under no constitutional authority to do so, created a separate form of government for the District of Columbia, which is a ten mile square parcel of land.
The Constitution for the United States of America was adopted on September 17, 1787, by the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and ratified by conventions in each U.S. state in the name of "The People".

129 U.S. 141
STOUTENBURGH, Intendant of Washington Asylum,
v.
HENNICK.
January 14, 1889
Sections 1 and 18 of the act of congress of February 21, 1871, entitled 'An act to provide a government for the District of Columbia,' (16 St. 419,) are as follows: 'Section 1. That all that part of the territory of the United States included within the limits of the District of Columbia be, and the same is hereby, created into a government by the name of the District of Columbia, by which name it is hereby constituted a body corporate for municipal purposes, and may contract and be contracted with, sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded, have a seal, and exercise all other powers of a municipal corporation not inconsistent with the constitution and laws of the United States and the provisions of this act.' 'Sec. 18. That the legislative power of the District shall [129 U.S. 141, 144] extend to all rightful subjects of legislation within said District, consistent with the constitution of the United States and the provisions of this act, subject, nevertheless, to all the restrictions and limitations imposed upon states by the tenth section of the first article of the constitution of the United States; but all acts of the legislative assembly shall at all times be subject to repeal or modification by the congress of the United States, and nothing herein shall be construed to deprive congress of the power of legislation over said District in as ample manner as if this law had not been enacted.' These sections are carried forward into the act of congress of June 22, 1874, entitled 'An act to revise and consolidate the statutes of the United States, general and permanent in their nature, relating to the District of Columbia, in force on the first day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three,' as sections 2, 49, 50.
- - - also note:
And Whereas: The Constitution does provide that Congress has the power to exercise exclusive legislation in all cases whatsoever over such district not exceeding ten miles square, as may, by session of particular states and the acceptance of Congress, become the seat of government of the United States.

And Whereas: On February 21, 1871, the Forty First Congress passed an act entitled "An Act to Provide a Government for the District of Columbia," legislating the organization of a municipal corporation to run the day to day affairs of the District of Columbia, the seat of government, which transferred the United States of America, the Republic, into "a corporate entity" entitled UNITED STATES, in capital letters, having "no" jurisdiction outside the District of Columbia.

And Whereas: Congress adopted the text of the federal constitution as the constitution or charter of this municipal corporation. This municipal corporation was granted the power to contract to provide municipal services to the inhabitants of the District of Columbia and necessarily as an operation of the privileges and immunity clause of Article Four of the Constitution, any other person who chooses to contract for its services.
- - Is there fraud in our ranks ?
The Webster’s Dictionary states that Fraud means Deceit, Trickery, intentional perversion of truth in order to induce another to part with something of value or to surrender a legal right.
The Blacks Law Dictionary states pretty much what the Webster’s Dictionary does but adds about two pages full of information. My favorite part is: A false representation of a matter of fact, whether by words or by conduct, by false or misleading allegations, or by concealment of that which should have been disclosed, which deceives and is intended to deceive another so that he shall act upon it to his legal injury.
- - - -
February 21, 1871 Congress Passes an Act to Provide a Government for the District of Columbia, also known as the Act of 1871*
With no constitutional authority to do so, Congress creates a separate form of government for the District of Columbia, a ten mile square parcel of land (see, Acts of the Forty-first Congress," Section 34, Session III, chapters 61 and 62).
The act -- passed when the country was weakened and financially depleted in the aftermath of the Civil War -- was a strategic move by foreign interests (international bankers) who were intent upon gaining a stranglehold on the coffers and neck of America.
Congress cut a deal with the international bankers (specifically Rothschilds of London) to incur a DEBT to said bankers. Because the bankers were not about to lend money to a floundering nation without serious stipulations, they devised a way to get their foot in the door of the United States.
The Act of 1871 formed a corporation called THE UNITED STATES. The corporation, OWNED by foreign interests, moved in and shoved the original Constitution into a dustbin. With the Act of 1871, the original Constitution for the united States (1788) was defaced in effect vandalized and sabotage when the title was capitalized and the word "for" was changed to "of" in the title
THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (1871)
is the constitution of the INCORPORATED UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

It operates in an economic capacity and has been used to fool the People into thinking it governs the Republic. It does is not !
Capitalization is significant when one is referring to a legal document. This seemingly "minor" alteration has had a major impact on every subsequent generation of Americans.
What Congress did by passing the Act of 1871 was create an entirely new document, a constitution for the government of the District of Columbia, an INCORPORATED government. This newly altered Constitution was not intended to benefit the Republic. It benefits only the corporation of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and operates entirely outside the original Constitution.
Instead of having absolute and unalienable rights guaranteed under the original Constitution, we the people now have "relative" rights or privileges. One example is the Sovereign's right to travel, which has now been transformed (under corporate government policy) into a "privilege" that requires citizens to be licensed.
By passing the Act of 1871, Congress committed TREASON against the People who were Sovereign under the grants and decrees of the Declaration of Independence and the original Constitution.

JUDICIAL INTERPRETATIONS
On May 3rd, 1802 an Act was passed to incorporate the City of Washington. (2 Stat. at L. 195.)
In 1871 an important modification was made in the form of the district government -- a Legislature was established, with all the apparatus of a distinct government. By the Act of February 21st, of that year, entitled "An Act to Provide a Government for the District of Columbia (16 Stat. at L. 419), it was enacted (sec. 1) that all that territory of the United States included within the limits of the District of Columbia be created into a government by the name of the District of Columbia by which name it was constituted a "a body corporate for municipal purposes," with power to make contracts, sue and be sued, and "to exercise all other powers of a municipal corporation not inconsistent with the Constitution and laws of the United States.
This Constitution lasted until June 20th, 1874, when an Act was passed entitled "An Act for the Government of the District of Columbia, and for other purposes." (18 Stat. at L. 116) By this Act the government established by the Act of 1871 was abolished.

By a subsequent Act, approved June 11th, 1878 (20 Stat. at L. 102), it was enacted that the District of Columbia should "remain and continue a municipal corporation," as provided in section two of the Revised Statutes relating to said District, and the appointment of commissioners was provided for, to have and to exercise similar powers given to the commissioners appointed under the Act of 1874. All rights of action and suits for and against the District were expressly preserved in status quo. p. 234
All municipal governments are but agencies of the superior power of the State or government by which they are constituted, and are invested with only such subordinate powers of local legislation and control as the superior Legislature sees fit to confer upon them. p. 234
The people are the recognized source of all authority, state or municipal, and to this authority it must come at last, whether immediately or by circuitous route. Barnes v. District of Columbia, 91 U.S. 540, 545 [23: 440, 441]. p 234
Chief Justice Marshall, speaking for this court, in the case of Hepburn v. Ellzey, 6 U.S. 2 Cranch, 445 [ 2:332 ], where the question was whether a citizen of the District could sue in the circuit courts of the United States as a citizen of a State. The court did not deny that the District of Columbia is a State in the sense of being a distinct political community; but held that the word "State" in the Constitution, where it extends the judicial power to cases between citizens of the several "States," refers to the States of the Union. It is undoubtedly true that the District of Columbia is a separate political community in a certain sense, and in that sense may be called a State; but the sovereign power of this qualified State is not lodged in the corporation of the District of Columbia, but in the government of the United States. Its supreme legislative body is Congress. The subordinate legislative powers of a municipal character which have been or may lodged in the city corporations, or in the District of Columbia, do not make those bodies sovereign.
