I believe the reason Moses walked the Hebrews around in the desert for 40-years was to kill off the older generation. Moses wanted the ‘one god’ religion known as monotheism. Only the priests or Pharaohs got to eat the priest bread but Moses broke the law. He fed the pries bread lased with minerals to the children and it strengthens their DNA making them stronger and smarter than their Arab cousins. Mr. Flamel was a real person who lived in the south of France in the 1500's. One day he discovered a very old big book with brass hinges. He couldn't read the writing because it was written in ancient Hebrew. He could read the cover however, and it said, "Anyone attempting to read this book must be a learned person." Since Nicolas Flamel was a scribe he opened the book and to his amazement it had beautifully painted illustrations. Some of the illustrations pictured people gathering something out of the garden soil. Since he was a scribe he copied some of the wonderfully painted illustrations. The book was said to be written by Abraham, the Jew to transmute or make gold to pay the Roman taxes. If you didn't pay the Roman taxes it wouldn't go well for you. They might nail you to a cross or poke you with spears. A year passed and Nicolas Flamel's wife Pernelly said, "Why don't you go get that book translated!” So Nicolas took some of his drawings, got on his ass, (also known as a donkey) departed for Spain where he knew of an old Monk who could read ancient Hebrew. Upon arriving at a monastery in Spain Nicolas showed the drawings he had made from the old book to the old monk. He wasn't actually making gold. He was taking the ORMES ‘combined atoms’ out of the soil and adding electrons by heating them to turn them back into the metallic state. The story mentions that he endowed three hospitals and five churches with gold and silver. I discovered the PHILOSOPHER'S STONE myself. It is now known as ORMES or orbitally rearranged monatomic elements. I have no doubt that there is something to the story of Nicolas Flamel and Pernelly. I did tests on various gold ores for fifteen years including the black iridium beach sands that come out of volcanoes. For many years none of the tests I did on the black beach sands showed any gold or platinum. I'd send samples into various laboratories in California to do leach assays, fire assays and spectrographic analysis. None of the tests showed any gold or precious metals in the black beach sand. I learned later on that the spectrographs they use a small 3/8-inch diameter carbon electrode. By the time the electric arc starts to melt the higher elements above iron, the carbon rod burns away and the sample falls in the bottom of the case. I was wasting my money. Everything has a flash point. Water flashed at around 230 degrees. I was paying $30 a pop for the spectrograph tests and I got no results for gold or the platinum group of metals. A year later my wife and I went on vacation. We flew to Seattle and I bought a used diesel truck. We visited my wife's relatives and the Nez Pierce Indian family in Oregon who adopted my father in 1910. Then we drove to Yellowstone Park. Afterwards we stopped at Bozeman, Montana. I like books. While entering Bozeman I was captivated by a triangle street that had a bookstore at the tip of the triangle. Upon entering the bookstore I opened the first book I came to in the front of the store. The first page I looked at had a picture of Fossil Point in Tuxedni Bay, Alaska where we fish salmon. What are the odds of something like that happening? A jillion to one? I had to buy the book after that. It was a big book and it cost me $75. The title was, THE MINERAL RESOURCES FOR THE WESTERN UNITED STATES AND ALASKA. It was printed in 1898 and had several Becker Dall fold out maps of Cook Inlet and Kodiak Island. After arriving back in Alaska I read the part in the book where the gold miners at Gold Beach, Oregon and other places were getting gold recovery by beating the black sand in ball mills and adding potash which is alkaline. I figured out that by bearing the sand with steel balls it was imparting electrons into the ORME atoms turning them from the combined atom state into the metal. In the California Mining Journal I noted that Bremner Technologies in Las Vegas could test gold and platinum ores. They melt complex gold ores with electron beams. This imparts electrons to the complex ores to get more gold recovery. I sent them a sample. The process was invented in Germany. They had various size units that can hold up to five metric tons. They melt the sample in a box filled with inert gas called argon so it won't oxidize. Three old fashioned television picture tube guns are focused from three sides and melt the sample into a lump of glass. The process forces electrons into the ORME atoms transmuting them into the metallic state. When I got the result of the test back the measurements of the amount of values were in parts per million. That didn't make any sense to me so the test lay around on my desk for a year. Finally I noticed a conversion factor on the bottom of the letter. I took my pocket calculator out and converted parts per million into ounces per ton. The results were promising with 1.5 ounces per ton of iridium per ton, some platinum and osmium and half an ounce of gold per ton. That's great but the problem is; you need lots of free electricity to transmute orme gold and platinum into the metallic state. I first began to seriously look into the arguments that the world faces a terrifying over-population problem about a decade back, when I was researching for my book on the history of gene manipulation or GMO. I was curious and in a strange way impressed with the intensity of the interest of the Rockefeller family’s foundation and other organizations affiliated with that foundation to sponsor the study or the application of eugenics. The real story about our global population is radically different as from the picture the mainstream media would lead us to believe.

In the course of my research I came across documented evidence that the Rockefeller Foundation had not only financed much of the work of Margaret Sanger and her eugenics Planned Parenthood organization during the 1930’s, when her “Negro Project” in black Harlem was trying to develop ways to eliminate the black population. The same Rockefeller Foundation at the same time financed the work of the various experiments of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute in Berlin and Munich during the Third Reich. They knew exactly what barbarism they were supporting—ways to eliminate the “unfit.”

The same Rockefeller family in the 1950’s created and financed the enormously influential eugenics work of the John D. Rockefeller III Population Council.

In June 1952 John D. Rockefeller III convened a secret conference at Williamsurg, Virginia where some thirty of the nation’s most eminent conservationists, public health experts, Planned Parenthood leaders, agriculturalists, demographers and social scientists met. They formed a new group which could act as “a coordinating and catalytic agent in the broad field of population.” John D. Rockefeller III publicly christened The Population Council and announced that he himself would serve as its first president. They organized their vast financial and media resources to spread the myth of over-population that today is blindly accepted by most as scientific truth. They spread the myth that “people pollute,” or as the Rockefeller Foundation’s Alan Gregg preferred to describe growing human populations in the developing world, “cancerous growths that demand food.” Population reduction became the strategic priority, step-wise, of the US Government and then the US-controlled World Bank.

The Rockefeller-financed research into cheap, effective birth control, and other eugenics projects resulted in the US Government, officially and secretly, making reduction of population growth in key raw material rich developing countries like Brazil, India, Nigeria and Indonesia the explicit USA Government policy. “No population control, no USAID money.” Henry Kissinger drafted the document for it, NSSM-200, titled, ‘Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for US Security and Overseas Interests,’ and President Gerald Ford signed it as Government policy in 1975.

The mainstream media that has been controlled by Rockefellers and their eugenics-loving very rich and very loveless friends for decades, pumped us full of the myth that the world was a human “population bomb” as the title of a lying book by Paul Ehrlich, The Population Bomb, in the time of the Vietnam War in the early 1970’s. In his book, published in 1970, Ehrlich argued, “We are going to have to adopt some very tough foreign policy positions…We must use our political power to push other countries into programs which combine agricultural development and population control.”

Population Implosion

There’s only one problem with their grand strategy of convincing us of an over-population danger. The world is facing, not a population bomb, but a population implosion, a collapse of the human species.

Some statistics are in order. It is well established, given average life-spans, death rates, that an average 2.1 live births per woman are required to maintain population equilibrium. A recent study looks at live birth rates around the world. The results are shocking perhaps to some.

In Germany, the birthrate has sunk to just 1.36, worse even than low-fertility Spain (1.48) and Italy (1.4). Western Europe as a whole will most likely shrink from 460 million to just 350 million by the end of the century. And barring dramatic reversal of the foolish One (sometimes Two) Child Policy, China’s population will be reduced in half.

Even the USA where a large immigrant Hispanic population immigration has kept birth rates higher, is now facing reduction. A Pew Research Center report found that immigrant births fell from 102 per 1,000 women in 2007 to 87.8 per 1,000 in 2012, to bring the overall US birthrate to a mere 64 per 1,000 women—not enough to sustain current population. Europe, in short, is dying off, China and Russia, and the United States as well.

Yes, some might argue, but the over-population bomb is in the developing world, in Africa, India, Latin America…

Not so.

The poor, highly fertile countries of the developing world, in part thanks to the Rockefellers and their loveless friends, are no longer reproducing as before. From 1960 to 2009, Mexico’s fertility rate plunged from 7.3 live births per woman to 2.4. India’s dropped from 6 to 2.5, and Brazil’s fell from 6.15 to 1.9. Even in sub-Saharan Africa, where the average birthrate remains a relatively high 4.66, fertility is falling and is projected to fall below replacement level by the 2070s. This change in developing countries will affect not only the U.S. population, of course, but eventually the world’s.

This population implosion will soon be recognized as one of the gravest problems facing the future of life, literally, on the planet.

In Exodus when Moses sent the two young Hebrews out to spy on the Promised Land they walked among the giants. What people don’t realize is that Earth has lost most of its atmosphere down from 300 PSI during the Carboniferous Era with a 15% CO2 to 100 PSI in the Jurassic and now 14.5 pounds per square inch at sea level. All that CO2 carbon was laid down as coal, oil and limestone with photosynthesis. If you could extrapolate all the carbon back into the atmosphere you would have a high pressure atmosphere. For aliens to live on this planet and breathe today’s rarified atmosphere required them to genetic engineer of a human with a large lung capacity.

The original Hebrew language was like the Star Trek), Klingon. It had no vowels and was the language of the gods. To make sense out of it the humans had to insert vowels so YHWH became YEAWEH... In Exodus had to erect a large portable tent made of twenty-foot long by 2-foot wide cedar planks for him every night. They couldn't watch him eat or look upon his face because the people would see what he looked like. He probably wore a burka when walking outside to keep the humans from seeing how he looked.

YHWH had a flying machine that emitted smoke in the day time and fire at night as he flew ahead leading the way to the land of Median. This is talked about in Exodus.

The Moon has not been up there billions of years as mainstream history would have you believe. Ancient Greek writings talked about a time when there was no Moon and people lived in the mountains and ate acorns. The impact exterminated all the camels, horses and mastodons in North America and piled up heaps of bones on the Kamchatcka Peninsula. The resultant force of the impact cause the fountains of the deep to well upward. Huge tidal waves 1000’s of feet high covered most of the continents. Parts of South America around lake Titicaca were elevated over ten thousand feet from sea level. The entire continent of Antarctica was elevated several thousand feet as the force of the impact was transmitted around the core of the Earth.

I also don't believe in the "big Bang; creation event. The deep field Hubble pictures show fully formed galaxies. Einstein secretly didn't subscribe to the Big Bang creation event either. He had to go along with it or be sent back to Germany where they were killing Jews.

The Big Bang theory was invented by a Catholic monk Lemetre? in 1926 and Edwin Hubble put some math behind it in 1928. In my book I quoted Stephen talking about an infinite no boundary universe. If such a thing exists then there are an infinite number of civilizations that we would consider to be Gods...

I am convinced that there are civilizations that can live in other timeless dimensions. Given the ageless and endless universe there would be civilizations that can live in space indefinitely without the need for a planet. They would nave no interest in coming down to Earth to mingle with the natives. Have you seen the sun divers on youtube?
Giant spaceships dive into the sun to gather energy and come back out again. They have to be the size of a small moon. How many people could live inside such a craft?

PS, The large skulls have a cranium capacity of over 2000 CC's while humans have between 800 to 1100 CC's. They are not human as they lack the hinges that allow the skull to pass easily through the birth canal.

Obama sends thank you note to Oklahoma be-header's mosque

The president wrote a thank you note to the mosque that spawned the Oklahoma be-header. Go figure.

The note was hand-delivered by David Myers, a DHS Director. Myers not only delivered the note, he also read it aloud to the congregation.

Quite a bit of pomp and circumstance when one considers the circumstance.

Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch reports, quoting KFOR TV:

Today, an official from Washington D.C. flew in to Oklahoma to present a special thank you to the Muslim congregation.

He read a message from President Barrack [sic] Obama, extending warm greetings from the American people during the Muslim holiday.

“Your service is a powerful example of the powerful roots of the Abrahamic faiths and how our communities can come together with shared peace with dignity and a sense of justice.”….

KFOR claimed the killing was unrelated to the mosque (I guess they did their own thorough independent investigation) while noting that the FBI said the beheading “has nothing to do with the Muslim faith.”;

Whew, that’s reassuring. Because for a minute I thought there might be a connection, what with the beheader’s conversion to Islam; his wish to be called Mohammed; his badgering co-workers to convert; his Facebook page replete with jihad-inspired comments and pictures including a photograph of a beheaded person; his shouting Islamic phrases while carrying out his savage acts; and his recent request for a Muslim attorney.

And I guess it’s also a crazy coincidence that the mosque sells a book that calls for replacing non-Islamic governments with Islamic ones. And that an imam who recently preached at the mosque endorsed “convert, pay the jizyah tax and live under Islamic rule, or jihad.” And that a former imam at the mosque with ties to al-Qaeda now preaches at the mosque in Boston that the Tsarnaev brothers attended.

And surely all the violence in the Koran, including the mandate to behead infidels, would also be unrelated.

Silly me. I thought this might be relevant.

So, to recap: Common sense has flown the coop. Stupidity reigns. The Oklahoma mosque is not being investigated. Instead, it gets a thank you note from the president.

Oh, and if I can just rant aloud here for a moment: How dare the president presume to send “warm greetings” from Americans. I send no warm greetings to this mosque. No greetings of any kind.

KFOR claimed the killing was unrelated to the mosque (I guess they did their own thorough independent investigation) while noting that the FBI said the beheading “has nothing to do with the Muslim faith.”;

Whew, that’s reassuring. Because for a minute I thought there might be a connection, what with the beheader’s conversion to Islam; his wish to be called Mohammed; his badgering co-workers to convert; his Facebook page replete with jihad-inspired comments and pictures including a photograph of a beheaded person; his shouting Islamic phrases while carrying out his savage acts; and his recent request for a Muslim attorney.

And I guess it’s also a crazy coincidence that the mosque sells a book that calls for replacing non-Islamic governments with Islamic ones. And that an imam who recently preached at the mosque endorsed “convert, pay the jizyah tax and live under Islamic rule, or jihad.” And that a former imam at the mosque with ties to al-Qaeda now preaches at the mosque in Boston that the Tsarnaev brothers attended.

And surely all the violence in the Koran, including the mandate to behead infidels, would also be unrelated.

Silly me. I thought this might be relevant.

So, to recap: Common sense has flown the coop. Stupidity reigns. The Oklahoma mosque is not being investigated. Instead, it gets a thank you note from the president.

Oh, and if I can just rant aloud here for a moment: How dare the president presume to send “warm greetings” from Americans. I send no warm greetings to this mosque. No greetings of any kind.

Important Jubilee Apostolic Decree...

September 2, 2013 Dublin – A multinational coalition of clergy and spiritual elders released their own Apostolic Decree yesterday that unseats the spiritual authority of Pope Francis and the Vatican, and establishes a new “Jubilee regime” within the church.

The Decree was read publicly in catholic churches in nine countries.

Based on the Jubilee Laws of divine renewal and social equality, the Decree is “a “Biblical and a peoples’ response to the criminal and unlawful authority of Rome”, according to one of its architects, Ciaran Ui Neill, a clergyman in County Wexford, Ireland.

“Human courts have found the papacy guilty of horrible crimes. But the court of God came to that verdict long before now. We are acting on our faith and reclaiming our church from a clique of deceptive criminals tied financially to organized crime” said Ui Neill in an interview today.

“So it’s unimportant what this new pope says or does. God has pronounced sentence on his false church and has disestablished its authority. And faithful Christians must now re-establish their church according to God’s word, which says, I am against the false shepherds and have destroyed them, for I alone will govern my people now.”

Ciaran is one of the founders of Not in Our Name, a coalition of catholic and protestant clergymen formed in 2010 that helped draft the Decree. It urges humanity to pray and fast for the next twenty one days to prepare for an historic “Spiritual Assembly and Convergence” in Rome and elsewhere on Equinox Sunday, September 22. “Through a public collective exorcism of the foul spirit of the false church, we will be spiritually launching our new Jubilee congregations on that day, in the company of countless souls all around the world ” explained Ui Neill.

The Decree also invokes the radical program of the Jubilee Laws by calling for an end to all debts and interest, a collectivization of the land and of wealth, and a release of all prisoners.

 According to Not in Our Name member Reverend Kevin Annett,

 “We recognize that politics and spirituality are really one and the same thing, and that the Divine or Natural Law is simply about restoring justice and the earth to all of God’s people. We’re putting the Jubilee into practice, like every prophet and Jesus himself tried to do. And like them, we’re doing so against the established rulers, the bankers, and the religious authorities of the world.”

Reflections on 50 Years of Struggle

What a blessing it was to have been here 50 years ago as one of the host of witnesses, excited and fresh from jail in Greensboro, North Carolina. To hear the collective voices of Walter Reuther from labor; the booming voice of A. Phillip Randolph; Floyd McKissick, Whitney Young, Roy Wilkins, John Lewis, Mahalia Jackson, Dr. King, Bayard Rustin and to stand with Dorothy Height, Walter Fauntroy, Jackie Robinson, Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee, Dr. Benjamin E. Mays and so many others. 14th Amendment,
I had been to jail twice, once in South Carolina and once in North Carolina. Thank God for allowing me to be a part of an increasingly small group of witnesses who have been long-distance runners. We changed the South and the nation. Across these years we’ve connected Mason and Dixon. We couldn’t have had the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, North Carolina and the Atlanta Falcons in Georgia behind the cotton curtain. We couldn’t have had LSU in Baton Rouge and Alabama in Tuscaloosa playing in the big game; or the Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia; nor could we have had the auto industry – Toyota, Hyundai and BMW – in the South. Southern Governors tried to block those New South opportunities. Our movement tore down walls and built bridges. Ironically, many who tore down the walls lay beneath the rubble while those who resisted now benefit from the new bridges. And yet we’d do it all again. It’s by grace, not by gratitude and false praise that we go forward with hope and not backwards with fear.
It was important to support the living dream that was addressing the challenges of its day. The dream of 1963 was not the dream of 1968. In 1963 we addressed the barbarism of that day. From Texas to Florida up to Maryland, we couldn’t use a single toilet. We couldn’t swim in the city swimming pool or skate at the skating rink. We couldn’t buy ice cream at the Howard Johnson or rent a room at the Holiday Inn. There was not a Black juror in the South. Only registered voters can serve as jurors. DC was under military lockdown with an appointed Mayor. The dream that day was to address the segregation, barbarism and racial animus.
The dream in 1964 was for a Public Accommodations Bill – make barbarism illegal. The powerful words expressed by Dr. King reflected the historical longings of those who for too long had been locked out. Black soldiers had to sit behind Nazis on trains and military bases. The American flag flew gently above them in the breeze. The dream lifted us from the stench of the blood of Medgar Evers; the smell of southern jail cells; they sentenced us to penitentiaries in Louisiana; they burned the buses of freedom riders in Alabama; they bombed babies in Birmingham; they conducted a terrorist attack on President John F. Kennedy. It was this blood and these martyrs that gave urgency and content to the dream of 1964 – the need for a Public Accommodations Law.
After the 1964 challenge of the Mississippi Freedom Party, led by Fannie Lou Hamer, and the Bloody Sunday of March 7, triggered by the death of Jimmy Lee Jackson, the killing Schwerner, Goodman and Cheney, the shooting of Ms. Viola Liuzzo, the beating death of Rev. James Reeb, the state police trampling of John Lewis, Rev. Hosea Williams and Mrs. Amelia Boynton – the dream of 1965 was a Voting Rights Law.
The dream of 1966 was open and fair housing in Chicago. We were met with violent resistance.
The dream of 1967 – the Poor Peoples’ Campaign – believed that there should be a foundation of education, health care, affordable housing and a job below which no American should fall. With great reluctance, Dr. King challenged the Democratic Party, the White House and the Congress he had helped to elect. He argued that we should not shift our policy of a War on Poverty at home to a war abroad in Vietnam. He felt that such a course of finding more security in bombs abroad than bread at home would lead to spiritual death. Bombs dropped abroad would explode in America’s cities. This act of courage put him in isolation from the mainstream, but he said, “I will speak and I will be heard.”
I was blessed to be with him, to watch and listen to him in the moment of ecstasy in 1963; and in the morning of agony in 1968. He felt the air was leaving the balloon of his dream. He felt that our propensity for the arrogance of war was undermining our moral authority in the world. After having met for several days, I was with him in Atlanta when he agonized in our last staff meeting with Dr. Abernathy, Andy and his wife and Mrs. King. He said, “We’re building a resurrection city of tents, shanties and shacks in Washington in front of the Lincoln Memorial where we once spoke of a dream. But today I feel like I’m fighting a nightmare.” He said, “For nearly a week I’ve wrestled with a migraine headache. I thought maybe this is all I can do in 13 years. Maybe I should leave now and head up Morehouse College and write books and travel. Maybe I should stop.” Andy said, “Please don’t talk that way.” He said, “Don’t say peace, peace when there is no peace. Let me talk.” Then he said, “But I can’t quit. If I turn back, Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass never quit and they would not accept me if I quit.
“There is disunity in our leadership, going in different directions. While our leadership is different, we are still friends. Maybe if I fast to the point of death, they will come to my bedside and we could reconcile. And then he broke out of his depression. We’re going to turn a minus into a plus. We’re going on to Washington. We’re going to stop by Memphis. We’re going back to the Lincoln Memorial. Maybe we’ll engage in an act of civil disobedience, disrupt traffic in Washington. We must engage in radical sacrifice. It may be the end of us. We must end poverty, racism, militarism and unbridled capitalism.”
His three moods were very much like Jesus’ three moods.

1. Let this cup pass from me.
2. As he prayed, his disciples slept
3. Not my will, but thine be done.

In the last 50 years we’ve seen mountains high and valleys low. We’ve seen the right to vote and its fruits. We’ve occupied offices that we used to not be able to get an appointment in. We’re now Congressman, Mayors and state officials. We’ve had our high moments. The return of Aristide to Haiti; the freedom of Mandela; and the election of President Obama, the crown jewel of our political effort.
And yet today, with all of our vast wealth, military mis-adventurism continues; our subsidy of the wealthy continues; the attack on public education continues; the attack on public transportation continues; attacks on the public post office continue; attacks on small business continue; the largest jail industrial complex in the world continues and is expanding; private prisons with $1.5 billion per year in profits; pre-trial detention up to 5 years; prison labor is expanding; Corrections Corporation of America is on the stock market; just locking up Americans for sport and profit continues. There’s too much hate, too much violence, too many drugs, too many guns in the land. Our dreams are under attack.
Our challenge today may be to create discomfort in houses of power around the nation – in love and non-violence with an appeal for mercy and understanding. There are too many poor people in a nation so wealthy. Today we are free, but not equal. We have closed the separation gap between races, but we’ve expanded the disparity gap between those who live in surplus and those who live in poverty. Free but not equal.
The unfinished business will require both courage and risk. It will require sacrifice. We must dream above the clouds of doubt and fear and cynicism. We still can dream of the constitutional right to vote and an end to the manipulation of voting in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and around to Texas. We still can dream of a new Civil Rights Commission, the conscience of our nation’s government, coming back to life again. We still can dream of picking up the baton of the Poor Peoples’ Campaign and reviving the War on Poverty.
Today, beyond inspiration, we must have a voting rights amendment and appropriations to wipe out poverty and not the poor. The 50 million in poverty and the near poor are unbankable. Their dreams are being squashed. Their hopes dashed. Public housing closed and private housing foreclosed. Facing race profiles and “Stop and Frisk” laws in New York and Stand Your Ground laws and bullets in Florida. There are 31 cities where black male joblessness is above 40% and in 6 cities it’s above 50%.
The march in 1963 was not merely a cultural celebration. It was on the cutting edge of change and the challenges of that day. Thus all of the great marches had a clear political agenda challenging the powers that be and the power that wants to be – to seek relief from misery, anxiety and fear. This season of activity must be no less. All that we fought for is under attack again. We won bloody battles on the fields between 1861 and 1865. The courts took them away with the stroke of a pen in 1896. During this 50-year season, we’ve won bloody battles, but with the stroke of a pen this Supreme Court intends to take it all back – and we won’t go back. We must have a political agenda that is designed to change the legal parameters and discourse of our nation. So it was then. So it must be now. Too many people have been pushed outside the tent of protection. We must end the proliferation of war. We need expansion at home over violence and fear. Revive the War on Poverty with appropriations and allow Dr. King to rejoice in Heaven on his special day.
James Earl Ray, with a bullet, killed the dreamer. We must not kill the legacy of the dreamer and the prophet with mere celebrations and reflections. We too must remain on the cutting edge of today’s challenges. While we may pause to look in the rear view mirror, our challenge is to look out of the windshield. This search for our progress and a more perfect union is real.
We have unfinished business. We want those who are inspired by him to follow him, not just admire him. To admire him is to quote his poetry. To follow him is to pick up the baton that was blown out of his hand. To follow him is to see the Federal budget as a moral document. When the Congress is reconvened and the State of the Union is proclaimed, clearly in this season of too much violence, if we can have the constitutional right to carry guns surely we can have the constitutional right to vote – the very foundation of our democracy.
To follow him is to fulfill his mission. So keep dreaming – student loan debt forgiveness. Keep dreaming – restore public housing and end private housing schemes while bailing out banks. Clearly if we can bailout Wall Street banks, AIG ($175 billion) and the auto industry, we cannot leave Detroit and Birmingham bankrupt and blowing in the wind.
Keep dreaming and use that vote, use those marching feet. When President Obama takes the economy from 4 million jobs down to above the plus zone – stand with him and march for more. And when the President tries to provide health care for all Americans – stand with him. When he bails out our industrial base and gives them a chance to recover – stand with him. When he ends the war in Iraq – stand with him.
Keep dreaming. Stop the “Stop and Frisk” policy and racial profiling because racial profiling is unconstitutional. We should go to higher ground. Instead of “Stop and Frisk,” start “Stop and Employ.” Ask him, “Hey brother do you have a job’? Stop and provide health care, stop and provide head start, stop and build high-speed rail and the cars to go on them; stop and regain trust between the police and the people. Stop and love somebody. We’ve tried loveless justice. It’s too brittle. We’ve tried just love. It’s too sentimental. Dr. King studied Paul Tillich and he was right. We need love, power and justice. But most of all we are not our brothers and sisters “keepers.” We are our brothers and sisters, brothers and sisters. And we want to do unto them, as we would have them do unto us. Those who obtain mercy must be merciful. It’s not merely the color we seek to change, but direction and character. The new vision that we seek – John said it best on the Isle of Patmos in the pit – he saw a new heaven and a new earth. The old one passed away and he promised to wipe aware our tears.
But above all stand with a conscience. Vanity will ask the question, “Is it possible?” Politics will ask the question, “Can we win? But conscience asks the question, “Is it right?” If the principle is right, it may never be popular or politic, but it will prevail. Stand through it all, because there’s hope. Stand on those dreams. You’ve come too far to turn back now. Say to the White House and the Congress, partner with us. Let’s make Dr. King happy again. Make him happy by permanently protecting our right to vote with a Voting Rights Amendment added to the Constitution. Give him the joy of reviving the War on Poverty. Make him happy. Give him the joy of ending more and more high tech wars, of reducing budgets for schools and trauma units. Make him happy.
I know it gets dark sometimes. But this land is our land. We the people – with the help of God – Jew and Gentile, Muslim and Christian, male and female, gay and straight, black, white, red, yellow and brown can heal this land. I know it’s dark sometimes, but the morning cometh. Keep dreaming. Keep healing.
If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will forgive their sins and heal their land.
Keep hope alive.
